Choosing a career can be difficult, but we’re here to help!
All degrees offered through BYU-Pathway Worldwide are made up of three certificates. Introductory certificates (see below) prepare you for entry-level jobs and help you progress toward a degree. All of these certificates build into established degree paths that will help you advance in your career. This means that by picking your first certificate you are essentially picking your degree.

Note: Some students may have career plans that require a more customized degree. The professional studies degree offers greater flexibility in selecting certificates that align with your goals. If you are interested in this option, you will have the opportunity later to make changes to your degree plan.
You should only consider a professional studies degree if you're confident it will help you achieve your goals. Otherwise, we recommend choosing a degree with a more direct path to a specific career.
